I ceased working on this website in May 2006 and the domain name has been bought by a current member of the band who plans to do a completely new website.

Design Notes:

This website is the one that started me doing web design.

Back in 1996 I was given the task to create a website to be used as a basic online advertisement, and information about a Genesis tribute band. The website in those days was a pretty basic affair and was coded in HTML with no CSS, and did the job it was intended to do pretty well.

Over the years, as my knowledge of web design increased, the website became more in line with the current technologies and standards until, eventually, it reached it's final form in early 2006.

• When moving from it's original design it was decided to use a frameset to provide a navigation structure that was in a fixed position (seemed a good idea at the time, and if I was currently involved with the website I would now use a fixed position DIV container)
• Formatting was moved from the HTML itself and into a linked CSS file - this enabled me to easily change the colour scheme and typography of the website to represent the colour scheme and typography of the Genesis album the band decided to cover on their U.K tour at that particular time. (Unfortunately, due to space constraints, I cannot have all of the designs available to view, so only the final website is available.)
• After 12 successful years playing in the band I left, in May 2006, to find pastures new and responsibilty for the website passed into other hands. So, the website you can see here is the final design I was involved with.
