Domain name for the original website has expired and not been renewed, therefore I am assuming the company has ceased trading.

Design Notes:

Technologies used: XHTML & CSS

• Web design for a receptionist service start-up website for a company called Health Professional Reception
• Discussed with client the requirements for, and purpose of, the website
• Designed, with the client, a mock-up in PowerPoint to visualise the look and feel of the website e.g. to "try out" different colour schemes and typography
• Hand coded XHTML and CSS to produce a basic design for the site
• Discussed with the client design issues (e.g. cross-browser compatibility and accessibility) throughout the life cycle of the project
• Discussed with the client about website hosting and set up an account with a hosting company
• Produced a final design for the client and uploaded it to the host server
• Conducted further testing on the live website with a number of different browsers to iron out any further browser-compatibility issues
• Contracted to update and maintain the website as and when required by the client
